Meet the Executive Director

Welcome to Victorian Bellefonte & Centre County’s Intervalley Area

I am proud to welcome you to our area and invite you to meet the people of our friendly, safe and charming community. Bellefonte was the home of seven governors, is the present seat of Centre County Government and home of the American Philatelic Society and its museum. It was founded more than 200 years ago, and the origin of its name is steeped in legend and controversial to this day.

Bellefonte and the Intervalley area is a region rich in culture and history, with something wonderful for every age and interest – from having a good cup of coffee, to browsing the unique shops and other various items, to world class fly-fishing and outdoor activities and adventures, to our Victorian architecture, museums, special events, historical bed and breakfasts, and unique dining establishments. These things and much more are here for you – just ask about what interests you.

When you do visit us, stick around a few days.  Our historic bed & breakfasts are world class.

Please be sure to contact us at the Bellefonte Train Station if we can help you with recommendations, the very latest information or can, in any way, make your visit more enjoyable. You can call us at: 814-355-2917, e-mail us at: biacc@bellefontechamber.org or you can visit www.bellefontechamber.org.
